Man lost in Red River Gorge

According to Wolfe Co. dispatcher Apparently there is a man on his cell phone who is lost in the Gorge. He is down to his last battery bar and can not tell dispatcher of his location. Wolfe, Lee, and Powell Counties are coordinating their efforts to locate the man with no success. No sure if the man has an injury. Also At&t Wireless is trying to pinpoint the man's position by his cell phone signal. PHI has been requested to help out with a helicopter fly over.

Hi Darren.... good to see you in the forums....
I just returned from the location--rescuers are talking to him, he is halyway between the top and bottom of a cliff.... rescuers have driven an ATV in to try to get him out.... Dad and Mom are both at the scene, Dad helped with the searching last night.... He appears to be unhurt, just rattled by his experience....

I sent this in last night to your work place, I didn't get to hear the first of it, and fell asleep so was not real sure what had happened. Good to hear he is Okay.

They Toned out the Boone Co Technical Rescue Team about 9:00 this morning for this. Hadn't heard anything else. I know they were staging at Erlanger Station 1 before continuing down.
