Manassas Scanning

I live in Gainesville, Va. I bought a PRO-96 yesterday and all is well with scanning Prince William and adjacent counties. However, I entered in the Manassas control channels from the RR database and am not receiving anything!...any ideas? Anyone out there monitoing Manassas successfully?

As of me typing this the Control Channel is set to 868.4000. Can you copy the Control Channel? This system has limited range so that might be it. I am across from the County EOC and I can barely copy Manassas's system most of the time. But here are some TGs that are the most active if you want to test:
Manassas City PD TG - 32784
Man Park PD TG- 48016

Also let me know if you plan on using the Win96 software to program and Ill send you the file from my radio and save you some time.

I can't even pick up Manassas from the Lake Ridge area, just a small roadmarch down the parkway from Man. Park/City. The range is very limited. But, once inside the City limits the traffic is clear, and active.

Active? I run at Manassas Fire and I would hardly call the FD channel active. But yes, our system does have a very limited range. I work across from Station 520 in Dale City and can't pick up the 800 system. I gotta rely on the old 154.250.

yea at my place on a good night u can hear manassas park on our fd pagers.
