Manatee County / Sarasota travel help

Hello,

I will be traveling to Florida at the end of the month and I was wondering what are some busy fire and ems frequencies/ talk group's to monitor. I will be staying in Manatee County. I have a Pro-96 so I will be able to monitor digital which I know Sarasota County is on. I looked up Sarasota and there was alot of TG'S. I didn't know if some are more active then other's?. Also need assistance with any medical helo frequencies. Thanks for any help you can send my way.

Manatee/Sarasota Fl.

Manatee you will need LCN's for them. Use this web page for info also you can add 10-060 longboat key dispatch, 10-063 longboat fire ground. For Bradenton use 10-041 to 10-044 for them. Manatee County F.D. & EMS will all be in the 04-021 for EMS & 04-041 up for Fire Department. Dispatch is on 154.37 for tones.
Sarasota County put in the Data Channel 868.7625 which is the north tower and dispatch TG's are 24976 for stations 1-8, talk group 25008 for stations 11-14 and talkgroup 25040 will get you stations 21-53. You will need tac channels of 25168 for stations 1-8, 25200 for stations 11-14 and 25232 for 21-53. If their tac are busy they go to command which are 25360 for stations 1-8, 25392 for 11-14 and 25424 for 21 to 53. Sarasota Brandenton Airport fire is 48976. Their system in Sarasota County is different because they don't simo all channels. you probably will not be able to hear Tac 3 or Command 3 from your location unless you can get site 2 data channel of 868.6125. Your radio will work perfect down here as I have 5 of the 96's.

Manatee/Sarasota Fl.

Medical for Bayflite and Aero-med is 155.34, and if Bayflite Sarasota repeater is up it will be 463.575. Right now Sarasota Repeater is not working. Manatee will use a non-repeated talk-around 853.3875, but on 853.3875 and 155.34 you will need to be close to pickup any signals.

154.370 is the old simulcat freq for FD.

All of Manatee County and the City of Bradenton, Palmetto, Long Boat Key are on EDACS Analog last I new. County FD does do simulcast on 154.370. There is an old F2 Freq that they use every once in a while for brush fires etc.
