After several days of intensive testing on the 5000 TGs...the following frequency alignment was detected:

This is from n1riw"s post # 35. It seems like Ch. 1 (851.3875) got omitted from the submission to the database. Is this on purpose? Are you guys hearing anything on the database version of the line up, because I'm not, (yet).

Hello all. I'm down here in Sarasota on vacation wondering what system is the sheriff's dept using at this time ? I have entered the old Sarasota P25 system and the new one described here as "manasota" . I'm only here for a week , I thought it would be fun to hear the Sheriffs radio traffic.

Scanning the legacy system. I'm showing a cc of 851.6875. System ID 09DCH site 0102. That cc does not match the RR data base as the cc or alternate cc. I'm hearing testing on TG1 and keying up on TG3.The radio is set ID search as opposed to ID scan. None of the SSO TGs or city of Sarasota PD TGs are coming in. Only scat in the 7000 range and some in the 8000 range sounds like water dept.8120. I must be doing something wrong. I'm using a 996P2. Any suggestions

It looks like 851.6875 is a system channel on the legacy AND the control channel on the new system. Maybe that's why my radio is tracking the new instead of the legacy? Looks like I am the slow kid in the class. Does this make any sense?

If I lock out 851.6875, my radio still wont lock onto the cc 853.8625. It's in the legacy as a system ch and I get 5 bars signal strength when the radio scans over that frequency. Quite the conundrum I have here. I apologize for the serial posting.

It is not 853.8625 but 853.7625 SID 593B SO 1. Lock out 851.6875 as that is P25.

I locked it out.It scans over the cc shows 5 bars but but wont lock onto the cc. When I sit on the cc it won't show the SID or the site.(yes 853.7625) I can hearmotor boat sound from cc. 5 bar signal w RS800 duck antenna. Thanks for replying.

Only install these four frequencies 853.2625acc, 853.2875acc, 853.5125acc, and 853.7625cc. Make sure you the scanner is set to Motorola Type II Smart Zone and NOT to P25.
