Can entries be moved or reordered in a scan list? TRX-.2 scanner? Can't see how to do it

OK. TNX. Another question? How do I make sure talklists are attached to the correct group of frequencies for that repeater system

If you have multiple sites programmed for a system, the scanner receives only the site with the best signal. The frequencies go into the sites.

Right, but how does the scanner know that scanlist 1 is supposed to be associated with bank 1 in the scanner? I'm dealing with 50 some counties in my state. I don't need the scanner scanning every frequency I programmed and not every talkgroup in memory.

In EZ-Scan, look in the talkgroup listing for a given trunked system. There, you'll see which scanlist that TGID is under.

For conventional frequencies, either look at the overall Conventional Frequencies tab. It shows all the conventional frequencies programmed, and the scanlist each is assigned to.:

If a specific talkgroup or conventional frequency is associated with more than one scanlist, those lists would be separated by a comma between each assigned list.

OK, that helps me a lot. Thank you for your patience. I was trying to understand how this all worked. Do you know how the scanlist and talkgroups are associated to a specific trunking site?

You "associate" the talkgroups to a given site (or sites if the system has more than one site). Each site is listed separately under the Site Details tab in the trunked system editor.

If you then select the Talkgroup Details tab, you'll see all the programmed TGIDs that are associated with that system.

Your talkgroups must be associated with the correct system in order to hear them on one of the site's frequencies. This is where you assign the scan lists you want for the talkgroups.
