For awhile now, I've been simply slapping a little label on an old world map in roughly the spot where the station's tower is. I want to do it all on the PC. What I mean is, you put a pin or dot or something using a lat and lon for the tower, when you select that dot it displays the i.d., date heard, freq, etc. Is there stand alone software for this, or anything integrated into a full suite. (I only take my G6 on the road, so I really don't need any of the control options.)

Try Google Earth. It does prefer a live Internet connection, but if you go to the places you intend to map and zoom in on them while you are online, they should be in the program's cache when you run it next time without the connection.
