I'm picking up TG 00224 SL County on Cache Simulcast site 53. Sounds like a rescue operation, 600 series units, helicopters involved. I doubt this is related to the marathon, though.

The Marathon ran quite well this year with very few incidents that I am aware of. I was in one of the SAG vehicles and only picked up one person. It was a great day for a run...

This would have been related to the people that fell while rock climbing up Big Cottonwood (I think that was the canyon) on Saturday.

My daughter ran it as her first marathon. She's normally a half marathon runner. Two days later I ran the Boston, so we had a lot to talk about. There were hams all along the Boston route too. They're great events for radio coordination, but I prefer the exercise.:)
