I have no experience with P-25 vhf systems, so I need some help with the custom table for a Pro-96. This info comes from the Pro96com software.

Identifier table 2 is used for the system.

In FUNC + 2, set Base to 136.0000, Offset to 8192 and Step to 12.5
In FUNC + 4, set to Table

I don't own a 396 but from my understanding, when you set the system to P25 you won't need any additional settings.

Correct, you shouldn't need to set anything as it should grab it off the control channel. Since there are a few systems that don't you'll have to make sure you have the latest firmware so you can enter the base and spacing (no offset as said above).
