MARCS. any news on if control channels plan to go 9600bps?

Just curious if theres any talk on MARCS w/ control channels going to 9600 baud?

Also, is it safe to call 3600 baud 'analog' and 9600 baud 'digital'? Or is it possible to have a 3600 baud 'digital' control channel or a 9600 'analog' control channel

What about the TDMA system up in Lake/ Cuyahoga county area? Is that on 3600 baud analog control channel still?

The 700 Mhz MARCS sites have 9600 baud control channels. Eventually, one day, all MARCS sites will be 9600 baud. For now, the ones you see under the MARCS P25 system are the ones that are 9600 baud.
