If you listen to one site only I would just program in all of the frequencies for that site. If you are hearing the control channel make sure that you trunk is on for each of the frequencies. If you use the software just click the column that says trunk it should change to ON instead of blank. If you program the scanner directly hit menu, scan option, trunk, select the correct bank, trunk type, on, type 2/P25 800, then trunk channel, put in the channel No., then enter the frequency. You just have to make sure that the trunk setting is set to on for all the marcs frequencies, that way the scanner knows which ones belong to the system. You can add conventional frequencies after the trunking ones just make sure the trunk setting is set to off for these. Also the easiest way to find which talk groups are active in your area hit the search button when the scanner is tracking the control channel, this will allow you to here any talk group being used. I would hit the hold button when it stops on something and look up the talk group on in the RR Database. If it is not something you're interested in hearing you can hit the lockout button and lock it out and keep on searching.
