Heard somebody blowing into the mic a few times. Heard off of either the Germano or Dellroy or East Liverpool tower.

Pure speculation -- given the TG range, might be one of the OREC talkgroups, since it's in the same vicinity as Darke Rural Electric Coop. Might end up being Carroll EC. Carroll EC is currently on MARCS.

Update: Radio IDs: 1090044,1090046 and vicinity. So that's Carroll Co, 9xxxxx reserved for MARCS. Even more likely now that this will end up being Carroll EC. I heard some testing of portables, but nothing was said to indicate the agency at this time.

February 3 at around 9-9:30 am: testing on 41532 through the Middle Point And Glandorf sites. It was between Putnam SO and Ottoville High School.

EDIT: Also testing between Ft. Jennings school and SO. The SO asked if they got the alarm/alert tone. Maybe some type of lockdown alarm from the SO to the schools?

But wait, there's more! On TG 59068, heard "radio service to Putnam EMA" advising the EMA that if they received an alert from Ottoville, it wasn't done by radio service and they might want to check it out with the school.

Heard this morning talk group 53565 off of the bellefontaine site with radio id's starting with 80xxxx. Sounded like Union County Rural Electric

Heard a DNR request to go back to the old system due to issues.

28505 Is what I believe is a detective channel and it's encrypted. Licking County Sheriff office.

Seems to be Perry County Fire. From listening to the recordings they talked about contacting different stations in the county.

What are you using ?

I'm in Zville , various HP1-2 996's Unitrunker.

Do not do much recording - but can always run a HP1 on a single TG and record if need to.

I am in Newark. I am using a BCD436HP and I record everything. I picked up 3900 on our Johnstown/ Alexandra and Linnville sites.

Heard on Marcs-IP on the Bellefontaine site, 47080 with discussion between Union County SO, Marysville PD and a third person testing emergency button activation and different microphones. Gut feeling tells me it is the school emergency talkgroup? Anyone else hear it?

I too have heard B&C testing "Marysville High School banner" to Union County Sheriff and Marysville PD on 47080. I have been hearing Marysville PD dispatch on 47046.

Schottenstein Center is on The MARCS IP system 63597 I believe is housekeeping / Maintnace, 63598 is Security, 63596 I heard them calling first Aid and 63595 I couldnt tell maybe Guest Services / Ushers, 63594 unsure but the center

Jeff...are you saying that talkgroup is being used by NEOMED employees or are you receiving it off of the tower at NEOMED? Just wondering because it is right in the mix for the Portage SO.
