How can you tell it is Hancock County if it is encrypted?

Radio IDs.

RadioIDs for agencies based in Hancock Co start with 32xxxxx

And we already know of at least one 22xxx talkgroup that is a Hancock Co talkgroup.

So you put two and two together and say if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it is a duck.

So if you see a 32xxxxx Radio ID communicating on 220xx talkgroup, odds are great that 220xx is a hancock co talkgroup.

How come allen and auglaize do not start with 02 for allen and 06 for auglaize? They leave out the zero.

If I were to hazard a guess it sounds like the Findlay Police since they were the only ones that I know of that enc on the old MARCS. It only makes sense they enc on the new.

TG35005 monitored on Cuyahoga Site

Just an FYI: This morning on the MARCS-IP Cuyahoga County Site I monitored a short transmission from TG35005 with a radio id of 5790106.

TG35005 is in the RR database as XCOMMEMS1 - EMS Dispatch. The radio id of 5790106 would be for Montgomery County, southeast Ohio (Dayton area).

This has been discussed somewhere in the past [about Community EMS].

I personally got to utilize their services this last Monday (3 times, long story). There operators I talked to like the new MARCS-IP system. They are dispatched remotely from a center up in Michigan. They are a primary provided for the Kettering Health Network, so you will frequently find them at various facilities around the area.

OSP.... YES OSP Activity

Post 30 - Cambridge
51738 was a unit to Cambridge
51530 was 2 units.

edit - 51530 - road unit to Post 30.
Sounds like post 30 may have moved.

No idea if and or what - sounded like at least one was a "normal" trooper going signal 3.

Probably just hit parts of xmission as on Zanesville site.

I think someone mentioned that the OSP T/G's will all have "515" as the first three numbers.

The county number will then follow. So in this case it makes sense that 515 is OSP, followed by "30" for Guernsey County.

Nice catch!
