From the Middle Point tower today:

Van Wert County Hospital is TGID 59837. Heard during weekly radio tests. I have submitted this to the DB.

Later in the day, heard Van Wert EMA calling Convoy FD on 47526. This is likely the new county fire group, but I cannot confirm yet since EMA did not make contact despite several attempts. They were dealing with a spill due to an traffic accident.

Also, Van Wert SO is still using XSO-81 as their primary dispatch, but not exclusively. They occasionally use the old VHF freq. I also heard one of the SO units call in on a different talkgroup early yesterday morning, but I didn't catch it in time. The same SO unit then went to XSO-81 to talk to dispatch. It looks likely that they will end up on their own new TG in the near future.

Guys, Just letting everyone know that the following unlisted TG's just came on in the last few minutes: 23505, 51591, 51718. I do know the last two are OSHP, but, not sure of the first TG.

Side Note: On TG 51718 I got a RID of 9002276

I have a BCD436HP and Columbus PD sounds very static when on the edge of the system. Here better the farther into the city I go. It will be nice when they switch as it will sound good again.

I know what you mean, I'm 15 Mi North of the Michigan/Ohio border and for me to even pick anything up at this point is a miracle. Most the traffic I get here is mainly in the Toledo area. One long distance one that has been popping in regularly is Community EMS somewhere in Ohio.

Caught hits on TG 51641 Post 78 (Warren) Tac and TG 52015 XNE-DNR, both were encrypted and are listed in the DB as D, not sure if it should be changed in the DB or not.

My local here was encrypted also for a while but is gone all digital. Maybe that is a TAC channel

I'm guessing 51591 is a local TG for post 91 which is one of the turnpike posts. Could be wrong though. Never know

OSP Van Wert post is now active on 51697. Heard on Middle Point tower with all units checking in as radio test, then routine OSP traffic.

This has been submitted to the DB.

Also, HELPDESK TG was active at Middle Point tower suite today. Fuel in generators checked.
