tg14470--id?? Cuyahoga Hills Juvy. Correctional Facility on Green rd. in Highland Hills. I have driven by this facility and it has individual housing units. No doubt this is what was monitored by fpo701.

I've had a chance to do a lot of listening this weekend and I would have to agree with Ed that 14470 is Chagrin WEST, while 14492 is Chargin EAST - noting unit numbers and streets.

They MAY be on that TG, but the main purpose of the TG is PD dispatch from Chagrin who dispatches for a number of municipalities.

Also Highland Hills PD dispatch is listed in the RRDB as TG 13609. I see no hit in my log since 3/27/14.

Chagrin14470 and 14492

OK. I set up a system to just monitor, log, and audio record these two talkgroups.

So far I can confirm that Hunting Valley, Chagrin Falls, Gates Mills, and Moreland Hills are on 14492.

Woodmere, Highland Hills, North Randall and "8217" (Guessing South Russell) are on 14470.

More to follow as I collect more data.

Chagrin 14492 and 14470

According to the Chagrin Valley Dispatch website, they have 11 member agencies. Below is a list of all of those agencies, their unit numbers, and which TG they are using. This was confirmed to me by a source which is directly related to the dispatch center.

14470/West TG:

53XX North Randal
58XX Orange Village
76XX Highland Hills
79XX Woodmere

14492/East TG:

15XX Bentleyville
24XX Chagrin Falls (Village and Township)
35XX Gates Mills
38XX Hunting Valley
49XX Moreland Hills
82XX South Russell

I have submitted this info for posting to the DB.

That agrees with what I've been logging/hearing except for So. Russell.

8217 was called and answered on 14470. It could be they scan? I thought So. Russell was more east than west.

I hadn't logged Orange or Bentlyville yet.

Thanks!

Given that document's info, the following sites are online but just not verified / submitted to the DB:

MANSFIELD CI (RICHLAND CO)
LAKE ERIE CI (ASHTABULA CO)
OTWAY (SCIOTO CO)
SHAWNEE FIRE TOWER (SCIOTO CO)
PEEBLES (ADAMS CO)
RUSSELLVILLE (BROWN CO)
GEORGETOWN (BROWN CO)
MOUNT VERNON (KNOX CO)
FORT RECOVERY (MERCER CO)

If you live in those areas, please consider searching 768-775 mhz for the existence of any new P25 control channels with system ID of 348 that are not already listed in the DB. If you find one or more, please submit as much information as you can about what you find to the database.

Un IDed TG 14493

This I first logged Jan 2013. Same TXIDs as TG 14489. Same kind of car description traffic.

Maybe it changed when they implemented the regional dispatch TGs.

I have the audio recording if you want to hear it :)

I believe you Ed! I think different officers refer to it as differently.

What I can confirm is that agencies on both the west and east TG's are using it. Yesterday I heard 374 tell a west and an east unit to "go to 2 band" and she put out a BOLO for a missing 3 month old kitten.

I'm sure they do. And the correction was made "tac two". I don't know if I can quote on here what was actually said. If Broadcastify had this it's at 2:10 PM

53002 - ODOT - Licking Co. Unsure though for certain - or if they will have more than 1 TG per county.

Also heard Muskingum TG but could not catch the TG #.
