14493 RIDS 1891104, 1891111, 1891119, 1811154 tfc mostly road construction tfc control.

Mike

I can't locate those RIDs in my logs for any other TGs other than 14489 and 14493.

I heard at one time someone said something about "moving my cruiser" so I would think PD. But they don't match any major PD or FD players that I monitor.

I suppose I can do what I did yesterday on the Chagrin TGs - log and record audio.

MARCS-IP Radio IDs in Wiki

If any of you would like to get together the known blocks of radio iDs associated with various agencies, you could email them to me and I'd be glad to add them to the wiki.

I might even be willing to add radio IDs that are not confirmed as long as you have a talkgroup to associate them with.

These would go into the specific county level wiki pages, as we do not want to clutter up the MARCS-IP Wiki page with a list of all of the radio IDs / blocks of radio IDs in use on the system.

For those of you using Unitrunker or other tools to watch radio ID's the State has released the radio ID scheme: 7x Radio ID SOP

Only meeting I've ever been at where everybody from across the state actually agreed on the same thing with a minimum of discussion. . .

Just heard radio ID 1891159 call Chagrin Dispatch on TG 14492 and advise he and another unit would be doing stops. About 3 minutes later, I saw that same radio ID and another on TG 14493 and they were clearly stopping vehicles. 14493 definitely belongs to Chagrin, I just don't know what the TG is called.

If you would like to help us all out, and if you already know how to use Unitrunker or Pro96Com to monitor a site, please run Unitrunker or Pro96Com on the control channel listed in the DB for the following sites and paste your results:

1-003 Centerburg (Knox Co): 773.45625
1-004 Clear Fork (Morrow Co): 772.28125
1-023 Celina (Mercer Co): 774.58125
1-028 Greenville (Darke): 773.03125
1-033 Brinkhaven (Knox Co): 774.90625
1-059 Johnstown (Licking Co): 769.85625
1-065 Granville (Licking Co): 770.53125
1-067 Hickman (Licking Co): 772.30625
2-009 Ashtabula (Ashtabula Co): 770.70625
2-011 Butler (Richland Co): 774.30625
2-056 Ashland (Ashland Co): 774.80625
2-057 Loudonville (Ashland Co): 772.05625
3-005 SOCF (Scioto Co): 774.28125
3-021 Newcastle (Coshocton Co): 770.90625

Why do I suggest running UT/Pro96Com on the above sites? Because these are all neighbors of sites that are believed to be online. If you can run UT/Pro96Com on any of the sites above and then provide us with the Peer information from the Peer tab, this will allow us to determine the Control Channel, RFSS and Site ID of the sites that are online but not documented.

Of course, if you can use UT/Pro96Com, I'd really like to ask that you run it on any 700 mhz P25 sites that are within range of your scanner and then post the results. There are likely more new sites online than just the ones below.

If you prefer to email the information, you can email it to my RR username @gmail.com .

Thanks

Mike

Given that document's info, the following sites are online but just not verified / submitted to the DB:

MANSFIELD CI (RICHLAND CO)
LAKE ERIE CI (ASHTABULA CO)
OTWAY (SCIOTO CO)
SHAWNEE FIRE TOWER (SCIOTO CO)
PEEBLES (ADAMS CO)
RUSSELLVILLE (BROWN CO)
GEORGETOWN (BROWN CO)
MOUNT VERNON (KNOX CO)
FORT RECOVERY (MERCER CO)

If you live in those areas, please consider searching 768-775 mhz for the existence of any new P25 control channels with system ID of 348 that are not already listed in the DB. If you find one or more, please submit as much information as you can about what you find to the database.

13619

I heard traffic around 12:35am on TG 13619 in which officers described it as "Channel 2". The radio ID's were 1892094 and 1892095. Both of those radio ID's then popped up a few minutes later with the same voices on TG 13611, which is Rocky River PD Dispatch.

I have made the submission to add 13619 as Rocky River PD 2.

This morning I thought heard North Olmsted PD using TG 13619 ... will monitor more during the next few days ... could have been Rocky River ... I was driving and couldn't pay more attention to radio.

it sounds like North Olmsted is using 13611 also so I suspect you are right with the Westshore departments just moving the 155 channels to talkgroups.

I just bought my first digital scanner two days ago and I happen to live in North Olmsted. How do you discover these talkgroups? Is it by scanning a certain range of frequencies?

TGID 13611 and 13619 are in the RRDB as Rocky River PD and have been IDed as such back in September 2013. Now it's North Olmsted??? Or are they both (or more) being dispatched from a regional dispatch center?

Hi Ed,

They have separate dispatch (at least for now) ... there was some discussion that Westlake might have been heard testing a week or so ago too ... so as davezimmerman posted, it could be that they are just moving from the Westshore 155 four channels to talk groups ....

We'll keep listening and see what we hear

OK I guess I didn't understand that all the westshore pd's would be sharing talkgroups like they did vhf frequencies. Makes sense now if that's the case. I scan in search node and pick up a LOT of new unidentified TGs but haven't been able to ID most.

N. Olmsted PD began using their MARCS system as of 5/12/14. Westlake PD is still testing and tuning their system. NOPD, WPD and RRPD will all be sharing a common "main" channel. Same will eventually happen with Bay Village and Fairview Park.
