Crabby,

Didn't see your request until just now...

I live just to the West of Montgomery County and monitor Montgomery /Greene/ Butler County daily. You are not doing anything wrong; however, the 436 is not the correct radio to use for these sites (I have two myself). You need an SDS-series for these sites, or a Unication.... The 436 is sadly lacking for anything other than the surrounding stand-alone sites...

Hope this helps,

In listening to transmissions on TG 32522 on the Broadcastify Calls platform, it sounds like it is going to be Medina Co Fire Paging. I heard pager tests for Hinckley, Lodi, Seville and Chatham thus far.

If you are in listen to Medina Co on MARCS, add 32522 to your talkgroups that you monitor. If you can confirm this information, submit it to the DB please.

Thanks

I entered all of the repeater imputs/offsets and it seems to work well if there is activity around here in Beavercreek. The Greene County side of the system comes in pretty good. I also have Wright-Patterson programmed and have it in search. Just a bunch of odds and ends but still worth having it on there.

These radio ids from 54124, 9402754 and 9400883. they are real close to the ones dth1958 posted oct 13. Good chance 54230 54124 are same users

Can you tell if they’re also using the Harris system and simulcasting? I see different UIDs being used on MARCS, so clearly there are distinct radios being used. It’s nearly impossible for me to listen to the Harris system at home so I’m wondering how these new talkgroups play into the Harris system.

Thanks!

All I know is yesterday , they did Alerts for each department saying Couny Fire is deactivated, MARCS Fire now active ....
so, I’d guess it’s just MARCS .

Thank you!

I’ve just heard two tone-outs simulcasting between 460.525 and MARCS. Must still have departments with pagers on UHF as the operations traffic I have heard is on MARCS. I hope to be in the area tomorrow and might be able to see whether or not the Harris is also still being used for fire.

I just upgraded to an SDS100 last week. There is a new MARCS tower site about to go live in the next few weeks (Millersport Ohio). What's the best way to get the necessary site data to add it to the SDS100... Discovery?

Just add the site to your Favorites list manually.

770.03125
770.04375
771.05625
771.06875
771.98125
771.99375
772.53125
772.54375

If you already have the MARCS system added in your favorites list, then just manually add a new site to it and upload to your scanner. If you don't have MARCS in your Favorites list, you probably should consider it. At any rate, that's what you'll need to do until the site is confirmed online and entered into the RRDB.

I'd recommend holding off on adding the site until it's online and the control channels are confirmed; it's probable that they'll use a frequency that's already in use as a control channel elsewhere in the state (more than XX miles away) so they don't have to reprogram subscriber radios.
