OSP was using 51774 and 51780 for the OSU Spring Game today. Also heard one unit on 51767 before switching over, so that appears to be another channel in the zone.

One transmission referred to the channel as “P-1.” I believe these are the PEVENT-1 and -2 talkgroups from old MARCS. Going to submit, but does anyone know what the “P” stands for? Maybe Patrol Event?
Back when I had an OSU radio, P-1 was the main OSU PD TG. They may still have some older radios used for events. Like Columbus PD is still using Astro mobiles. Before you comment, I saw it in a recent YT video.

OSU also has a P-1, but this was an OSP talkgroup. I have heard them call it “EVENT 1” and “P-EVENT” in the past.

54117 was in use today for the Ohio Homeland Response Force traveling to CJAG (ex-Ravenna Arsenal). Heard many of the radios key up on 54121 before switching to 54117. Not sure if 54117 is used by the HRF itself or just the C2 element - might get more info when they return from the training.

Callsigns:
EOC
ADVON (Advanced Party)
HRF LNO (Liaison Officer)
TORCH (Torch Cell)
MAIN BODY
CBRNE TASK FORCE

RIDs: 9400677, 9400685, 9400712, 9400726, 9400730, 9400742, 9400816, 9400817, 9400818, 9400819, 9400821, 9400823, 9400824, 9400825, 9400826, 9400827

Looks like a few new Fairfield Co. talkgroups went active today - sounds like LE. Is there a department switching over to MARCS? Maybe Lancaster?

Still working to verify these. Pretty confident on 16736 and 16796, but going to wait to submit.

16524 unknown
16736 Lancaster PD - Dispatch
16759 unknown
16796 Lancaster PD - Tac
16857 unknown
16920 Lancaster PD - unknown

I did hear one of the techs doing a radio check on LPD Tac and say he was "moving to SRT." Nothing heard after that; could be encrypted or might be one of the above talkgroups. Not much traffic coming across on the Columbus simulcast.

Some hospital radio checks today via Calls:

59768 Pomerene Hospital
59807 Cleveland Clinic Akron General Lodi Hospital
60719 OhioHealth Emergency Care - Ontario

OhioHealth Ontario is already in the DB (60730) but there aren't any logs of it on BCFY. Not sure if 60719 would be correct.

Edit: The deputy said that the dog allegedly murdered 3 cats and he was asking the supervisor for advice on making a decision of what to do about the situation, and he said he didn't call by phone because he didn't have any LTE Cellular coverage at his location.

On 5/26 Between 10 AM and Noon I had TGID 22517 get logged during a WildCard scan on my PSR500. This is the only day this was picked up. I'm in Hancock County.

This TGID isn't currently in the Database so it is currently and unknown TGID. I search this thread and it appears it has not been noted before on this thread. I only Monitor the MARC's towers in Findlay and Bluffton (773.65625, 774.20625)

22517 and 54844 both added to the Wiki.

Today, heard 90049xx units on 51755 coordinating the Hilltop Summer Safety Bash at the Shipley Building. I have heard this talkgroup used for evacuations of the building in the past - maybe it's Shipley Building Security? I see P98 in the DB as the Shipley HQ, but the comms on that TG seem vastly different from what I thought they would be.

Unknown TGIDs received today:

7042: Unknown in the wiki (Athens County, Public Works, doing traffic control and mentioned weed eating. Received on Washington County towers.)

53563: Unknown. Only received 1 transmission that said, "Someone call for base?" Received on Washington County towers.

53124: Unknown. 26 transmissions, all encrypted, received on Washington County towers.

I also received some traffic from POST41 today and I noticed it's marked in the database as partially encrypted, but all of the traffic I received was in the clear and nothing was encrypted. I won't submit an update yet unless/until I can confirm though, but I wanted to let you know.

Unknown TGIDs received today:

7042: Doing more traffic control and one had a mower break down on County Road 24. I did a Google search and I think this is probably Athens Public Works. https://www.countyoffice.org/athens-public-works-athens-oh-69b/

59937: Unknown (Mentioned Marietta Memorial Hospital. Possibly an LHD channel? LHD WASHINGTON maybe? Received on Washington County towers.)

Question:

Aren't Fire talkgroups restricted to home county and adjacent counties only? I received traffic on FD82DISP both yesterday and today, but my lieutenant said whenever they go outside the county, they have MARCS coverage only for neighboring counties and once they're out of range of that county's tower(s) they can't transmit or receive anything.
