MARCS PRO 96/2096 HELP

i'll try to make this as clear as possible. something just does not seem right with my marcs setup in the cleve.area. i'm new to apco-25 systems i have no problems with lake co. and msp in detroit &have no problem mobl w/marcs on the 2096 but at home it seems like the radio freezes up on one site for awhile then switches over to another and freezes up there. only programed the main (red)cc chs. i have about equal sig. % for all the sites. tried to fool around with the control ch mode setting Function+4 (pg 120 in the man) but it just beeped back at me.

Program in the red AND blue CC's. Every so often they change the CC and it will be either one of the listed RED OR BLUE CC'ss. Can't just do the red ones.

Separate each site with a conventional frequency. It will then scan through each site, not just sit on the first one it comes to...

What does "freezes" mean? It sits for a second? A minute? Until you touch a button?

freeze up was a bad term. the radio does not stop scanning what it seems to be doing is only picking up calls from one site usally the medina post from the strongsville site then i'll hear nothing from the lake and elyria co posts. also is it ok to just leave a chan. blank between sites?

It's best to put an actual frequency in there, not leave it blank. You can put in freqs that aren't being use, or you can use statewide and national mutual aid freqs, like I do. I-TAC, Intercity, LEERN and such...
