I cant hear no digital data on any of the freqs for lancaster ohio marcs sites on my analog scanner.. does this mean i wont be able to pick up digital on my radio when i get it if i dont get any digital burst data sounds on those freqs ???

You should be able to pick up the control channel on 868.6125

If not, you're in a bad location.

If it is the CC you are hearing then yes you should be able to monitor MARCS with a digital radio.

Yes, I have - once. NWS in Cleveland was talking to EMA in Columbus.
