MARCS SIGNAL % READING

I got my pro 96 today and can only pick up the lancaster post control channel on MARCS

the control channel signal percent justs to and from 97% to 99 % in the same location not moved any. is that bad and does anyone know what causes it.
does it all over the house where i put it and it stays still at all locations upstairs and down does it even moving.
is 97 % a bad reading

does anybody eles listen to lancaster post on marcs ??
should i only program the control channels or the whole freq list for lancaster marcs

should i also program the mobibe site cc in there.

Note i get other ccs but all i get is 83% and they jump back and forth from there to like 25, 10, 15, 45, 50 percent range nothing heard from these channels

Be happy with that. My decode rate goes from 0% to 40% all the time on one of the 2 towers I can get. On the other tower it jumps from 66% - 97% all the time.

can u even recieve them ?? or do they drop sometimes. any way to fix the problem u got an outdoor ant or 800 mhz ant

Sure I recieve them but Im also sure that I miss some traffic here and there. I am using the GRE 800Mhz handheld antenna since my Scantenna 35ft up wont pick up any MARCS sites.

Well if that is the case then do u think patrol units in your area have a hard time getting out also ??

Well since there not sitting in my house then I would say no plus my local post is not up on MARCS yet :x I have no problems when Im out and about with the radio.

Ok once your post goes live on marcs then u can hear them great i would think bet u cant wait when is it suppose to come online ?

I have no idea when they will be up and running but Im hoping it will be soon. I havent even heard any testing going on yet.

Also one thing is i cant hear voice on the other towers can u hear voice ?? like the 0%to 40 % and the other tower u hear??
is it bad not to hear voice on those

Yes those are the lastest updates.
I hear all kinds of stuff off of both towers. At first I didnt hardly hear anything because I didnt have any spaces between each system in the same bank.

how many channel spaces should u have between them ?? also how can u make a freq go back to 000.000 mhz in a channel ?? like when u first got it

One space is all it takes. I just put some conventional channels between each system.

Just program all zeros back into that channel.

i tried that (the zeros) but it didnt work

so like channel 1 control channel, ch 2 blank, and ch 3 something else ??

Hmm try pressing FUNC then CLR on the channel you want cleared out.
Yes a blank space or conventional freq between each system.
