i read in marcs yahoo group that some hwy patrol tgs are in encrypte mode now.

any updates ??

is this bad for us who paid alot for the 96 and will be useless ??

if hwy patrol does go ft encrypted will their be still alot to listen to on the system ??

Well, encryption would mean you can't listen to them. That doesn't make them useless. As other digital systems pop up, you'll still have it. It still works with analog stuff...

You can listen to the prisons, unless THEY go encrypted...
