Maricopa County Database Questions

I was looking through the database and noticed the following anomalies:

->Avondale is listed as being dispatched both on the Glendale system as well as the Phoenix system
->El Mirage is listed as being dispatched both on the County system as well as on the Phoenix system.

¿Which would be the correct system to monitor?

I'm trying to pare down my 396's memory and speed up my scanning times, so a couple of questions for the Valley experts:

Does the Maricopa County system simulcast all traffic on the primary sites (White Tanks, Thompson Peak, and Central Courts) or is it only MCSO traffic that is being simulcasted as indicated in the “Misc. System Information”? In other words, which site(s) would primarily carry the El Mirage, Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Surprise traffic if the units are not roaming out of their respective jurisdictions?

Same question for the Phoenix system – are the other users listed (Avondale, El Mirage, etc) primarily simulcasted system wide or just on local (to the user) sites?

Since I'm generally mobile while in the Valley, I'm really only interested in listening to a particular agency when I'm near their jurisdiction. No need programming all the systems if you only need 1 or 2 - leaves room for more stuff to monitor

Avondale is on Glendale's system.
El Mirage is dispatched by Suprise on RWC (Phoenix's system)
Suprise is on County's system.

Best bet to hear El Mirage seems to be Simulcast E.

No guarantee's about who is where tomorrow though. If one of these don't change, odds recently have been that someone else will.

I spent some time in Scottdale with family every so often. I think the Scottsdale traffic is only carried on the Thompson Peak site. I suspect Paradise Valley is the same.

Scottsdale can be heard off Thompson Peak with a number of talkgroups heard on White Tanks, Gillen, Ord & Humbolt.
