I caught an interesting frequency while driving yesterday morning. 47.660 127.3 PL (Announced call sign KOM970) was monitored Tuesday Feb 18 at 8:00am. I heard Maricopa County Emergency Management doing a roll call with valley public safety agencies. It sounded similar to PSAP roll call on the RWC. It included most of the same agencies, but also included National Weather Service which is not on the RWC PSAP. This might be a good frequency to have programmed during a large emergency. It’s not in the DB, so I will submit.

Arizona Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

Has anyone heard anything else on this frequency? Anyone know of other frequencies used by Maricopa County Emergency Management?

They have talkgroup 1565 on the RWC as well. I have heard a roll call on it once or twice, although not recently.

I just caught the EOC doing a roll call on TG 1565 on the RWC, starting just before 9:30am. Out of all the towns/cities and other agencies (Central Arizona Project, National Weather Service, SRP, etc) around Maricopa County (as well as the Pinal County EOC) called, the only response that I heard was from the NWS.
Why have a daily roll call if no one bothers to respond?
I heard 1565 on the White Tanks, North Mtn, South Mtn, and Towers Mtn IR's, by the way.
