anyone else hearing MPD STEP traffic on the old BLW repeater 151.13?
Lots of good stuff, including commentaries on traffic stops. Including a description of Seymour Butts in his SUV blabbing on cellphone who almost ran the officer over while they were working traffic.

PL is 103.5, sounds like they may be narrowband as the audio is a little soft, but then I am listening on a 1983 Realistic Pro-2020.
Very active last night, but dead quiet tonight.

MTS2000:

You're getting some great mileage out of that 1983 Model 2020, huh? Nothing like conventional frequencies and a plain 'ole scanner.

Yeah, and after almost 30 years, it still works as good as the day it was purchased from the now non-existent Radio Shack at King Springs Plaza Shopping Center (the store is now a Family Dollar or some hair weave joint next door)

Though today it's relegated to monitoring Smyrna Fire's old VHF 154.16 for their 0730 radio test, Douglas County SO, GMRS and HAM- I think I have Cherokee and Paulding fire in there too.

Something magical about the blue VHF display, right next to my Spectra UHF and Astro Spectra Plus 800 on my desk.:D
