Where in the Radio Reference data base can I find the complete marine vhf frequencies that I can import to my Home Patrol? Or I have a and hpd file saved on my hard drive that contains those frequencies. How would I import that file to my Home Patrol. I have ARC Patrol installed. I am truly technologically challenged that is why I got the Home Patrol. Thank You

Uniden missed a few things in their product definition.

They really should have including in the standard package some way to enable common sets of frequenices such as MURs, FRS/GMRS, VHF marine, AAR railroad channels, and itinerant business and dot/star freqs.

Maybe they'll listen to the feedback and include it in a firmware revision.

Marine Service for the Home Patrol-1

The HP-1 has been out for several months now, and still not database or firmware update that includes the VHF marine band. Have you had any luck in setting it up in your receiver? I have created a Marine favorites list/folder and that is as far as I have gotten.

It should be pretty simple to have a "national" section of the RR database. In the national section would be some standard frequency blocks that could then be imported into the HP1. Problem solved.

The last time I looked, the HP database had a bunch of FAA enroute control center freqs in the national database, so it looks like there is already a system in place for this.

Alternatively, the frequency banks below could be added to each and every state database.

I recommend:

VHF marine
CB
MURS
GMRS
Amer. Assoc. of Railroad
