What are the most used Marine VHF channels used in Portland? I know obviously to keep tabs on Marine 16 and 22, but what else?

Oh and what channel do the bridges use?

Memory serves that 13 is usually the main bridge channel. I used to have to use it when I was a fire fighter and needed the swing bridge held for fire/EMS units. Sure ticked off some of the boaters and I let my feelings be known on one occasion (at 50w ).

as always... monitor 16.... USCG will pre-announce info broadcasts that will air on 22a...

13 is good as was previously said, for bridge stuff... and other than that, kinda depends on where you are

you may hear some chatter on 88... maybe 9... but 16, 22a ,& 13 are always on in my setup
