MQT Law Unit Numbers

MQT Sheriff is "52XX" for cars, "152" is the jail/sheriffs dept

Forsyth Township (Gwinn) "84XX" "841" is the station

Ishpeming City is "495XX" "495" is the station

Tribal Police (Ojibwa) are "854XX"

"131" is The MQT County Rescue Unit

Sometimes you'll hear "Station 80" when dealing with MSP, thats Regional dispatch in Negaunee

EMS
Forsyth = 101 &102
Palmer = 171
Mediride = 155 Medic Intercept, 156 for rig
MGH = 140 Office, Rigs are 141-145, 146 Medic Intercept
Bell EMS = 110 - 114
Sands = 181
Skandia/West Branch ??? It's a non transport rig and hardly ever rolls on anything anyway,,MGH and Mediride pretty much beat them there most of the time
Big Bay, I think is 191

update on that Tribal Police Unit #: It is "886513" not "854XX"

Intellifax, That list looks pretty good with the exception of the "131" unit.

There is a small township missing from the list "Ely Township", A Friend of mine is on their department so I'm checking with him for their Dept. #. I believe they are a first responder unit.
I'll post when I get that #.

Nmu pd

I have heard NMU on the 800mhz : Talkgroup: 7050 which is the Marquette County 911 Dispatch. usually when their backing up a city unit

There is a NMU Public safety Talkgroup :7087 however I don't recall hearing much on it.

I'm not sure but I think they do their own dispatching

That being said I have also heard them on a conventional frequency, not sure off the top of my head which one right now, but I work @ NMU and have to go up tomorrow, so I'll try to pay attention for any traffic on the 150 Mhz band

The 2 freqs I have programmed are 154.0250 and 158.7450

Both I beleive are/were Public Safety at some point.

Hey, I don't suppose someone could maybe put the police unit #s up on the wiki? Also quick question for anyone who may know, does the new broadcastify stream cover the Marquette city and NMU DPS talk groups?

Well, I gave it a shot to the best of my knowledge; update is at http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.php/Marquette_County_(MI)

Anyone with an account can fix it up.

Greetings from Texas. spud2861: Really appreciate the feed. Have hoped someone would do this for some time. Have never heard the Marquette County 800 MHz operations. Last time I was up there I only had VHF gear, where not much is happening anymore. Now I've been glued to this feed since learning it existed, and figuring out what's changed and what's the same since many years ago.

Not sure what's on the feed exactly, in terms of talkgroups and frequencies. I have heard Marquette City Police, presumably on the countwyide law talkgroup (along with other law enforcement agencies throughout the county, just like the old 155.430) , with normal dispatch operations, and have heard them calling their station "764" (dates back to the old VHF simplex 155.610 KQB764, way back when). Just a moment ago heard NMU's own proprietary operations for the first time. Sounds like it's digital. Previously had heard 62322 calling on duty with Central.

Just moments ago heard Marquette Mountain Ski Patrol "on VHF" -- maybe this is the old coordination repeater 155.775, also used for EMS and Fire paging now? Or something else?

EMS and fire paging and operations are there as well.
