Marquette sheriff not apco-25

Noticed that someone has made changes in the RR Data base on Marquette and also dells P.D. Being part time Apco 25, NOT TRUE, this is DVP, someone can correct me but that is not Apco 25, but used to keep important info from the wrong ears! I can confirm that this is being used in Adams, Waushara and Green Lake also, but again do not believe it is considered APCO -25. Thanks

Howdy There....

Well, actually I have heard P25 traffic (Although, it was 100% encrypted) on Marquette County SO's 155.1900. I am not sure about WI Dells PD (155.5800), though. There are a few agencies that operate in analog mode most of the time and then go to P25 encryption for sensitive stuff. I am sure we will see more and more counties/agencies do this.

After spending the past weekend at Jordan Lake in southern Adams County I can confirm the Marquette County Sheriff use of encryption is P-25.
