Uniden BCD436HP scanner, sentinel, issue: I am not "hearing" any KCFD or KCMO channels. They don't appear to be in the directory list. Not sure where to start.

Make sure you have all control channels programmed:
851.050
851.325 (should be the current active control channel)
851.600
851.8625

Everything is working fine on my Motorola and Unication equipment.

are you good with sentinel and the 436HT? I am scanning from a zip code, not sure how program from Seninel

I'm not familiar with the newer line of Uniden scanners or sentinel. I stopped using scanners about 4 years ago due to simulcast distortion. I'll let those experienced with the equipment walk you through the steps.

On your scanner check the "Select Service Type" channels. You can have all the channels listed but you need to have the service type on before it will scan those channels.
