MARSHALL, Minn. - Lyon County took a step toward a new emergency radio system on Tuesday, as county commissioners passed a resolution approving a plan for participation in a new radio system.

Yep, Lyon county is finally going to start moving ahead.

The Marshall and Russell sites are on the air, nothing heard there so far but radio services doing tweaking and such though. Sounds like MNDOT and Lyon SO should be on there by the end of the summer.

I heard a north memorial truck from marshall talking on North's All State Talkgroup the other day and i think they installed a shiny new XTL5000 in their newest truck that just got delivered a couple weeks ago...
