Martin County, FL TRS rebanded?

Can anyone in Florida tell me if the Martin County 800 system has been rebanded yet? If they have not, does anyone know when this will go into effect? The license shows rebanding frequencies pending:

I was monitoring them yesterday day on the current channels with no problems. I dont beleive they have yet. I will check with a source and try to see when they will be.

As of yesterday 4-12-2010 they have not rebanded.

I am picking them up on SOME of the new narrowband frequencies today. I am monitoring the control channel on the 868 range, and its showing some of the new frequencies...

Martin County 800 system has rebanded. Last year when I was on vacation here, it was St. Lucie County. This vacation... Martin County. 73s everyone.

Martin HAS REBANDED today! CC 853.1750 I used Standard rebanding as in St Lucie County. All talkgroups appear to be the same. Just had a few minutes to play with it today. 73's Lastcall

Looks good to me. 8523.575 is the data channel
Rebanding configuration is the same as St. Lucie COunty.

Rebanding is the same because both counties have their radios programmed to use either counties system. you will notice during a multi county chase, or when they are right on the borderline of either county or when they are using the search chooper, you will sometimes hear martin county sheriff actually talking with a st lucie county dispatcher or vise versa and it is not a patch between the county systems even though they can patch. Wierd why they did that. I guess the counties are very friendly with each other and in an extreme emergency " Total system failure of either county system " they will still be able to operate.

Why do you find this weird? Many agencies have inter local agreements to program their system in each others radios. It is a concept called interoperability.

It isn't wierd and like gcr stated, it is for interoperability. The PBSO and PBCFR radios have TRS programmed in from Miami up through Martin County. We all have clearly defined interop. talk-groups that get patched, if required, to the talk-group that has the large scale incident. The process works perfectly as long as the field commander and dispatch do what they have been trained to do.

I should not have used the word weird. I know it is for interoperability. Its the whole reason martin county went from EF johnson to Motorola. I am not talking about a talkgroup patch between trunking systems. Im talking about one county radio switching over to the oppisite county system. I take it that if/when one county updates it talkgroup database or system information, the other county units would have to bring their radios to the oppisite county radio shop for reprogramming " Like when one county rebanded and the other didnt yet?". Do you still consider this a patch even though it is not really a patch? I know the patching of the 2 trunking systems would still work, but what about each radio. I dont think one county would give their system key file to the oppisite county or am i wrong on this? This is what i meant about being friendly with each other. I wont learn unless i ask

We did trade system keys and specific ID assignments with each other per our official interlocal agreements. It is not efficient or logical to have radios move from radio shop to radio shop to be programmed.

St. Lucie Co. shares system keys with any Public Safety agency that needs them.
Individual user IDs are also assigned to heavy cross-over units (SLSO, SLCFD, PSLPD), block IDs to the agencies.
St. Lucie radios have a few specific corresponding Martin Co talk groups available to use when in Martin, needs past that are done thru patching. Each County also has their own TGs on the others system, as well.
As both Counties are using NPSPAC frequencies in simulcast systems, frequency shift was down 15.000mHz. St. Lucie retuned in April '09, Martin delayed a year to accommodate Palm Beach Co.
