Just click "Submit Changes" on the State of Maryland page to submit the info and we'll find a place for it. Thanks.

Someone thought CAP was Combat Air Patrol rather than Civil Air Patrol. The strange thing about that post is that there's nothing to identify the poster. I've never seen a message like that here on RR.

And I recognize the list, even if the poster isn't shown - it comes from the old MilAirComms website, which in this case, is very out of date (2003 dates?) The previous threads are all from 2004. How this came up is beyond me, unless someone was trying to post (or was an artifact of) the recent outage for maintenance that Lindsay has mentioned. The time of 9am on the first message is circumstantial evidence - that's when the outage was scheduled for today. 73s Mike

I think their account got deleted.
Indeed, this is what you see if an account is deleted (not just banned) and the posts are not removed. To the person who reported it, nothing sinister about it.

The question I have is why would someone drag an almost 3 year old thread up just to comment on how the list is incorrect? BTW, we didn't have a Wiki when this was posted so even that comment is incorrect. :D

That message with no ID on it appeared this morning as a new post and the thread was suddenly in bold type at the top of the Maryland forum. I guess that's why it drew comments before anyone realized it was from 2004. I guess the real question is why that old no-name post made its appearance. Perhaps it was just a blip of some type in the database that burped it up and spat it out.

Interesting...I will contact the boss and ask him what he was doing this AM. That is the only way such an event would happen. Thanks for the updated info.

Thinking a bit more about it, it's the thread itself that got spit out and suddenly bold at the top of the forum - not necessarily that single message. It's just that once the thread became bold, it was assumed the last message with no name was new. I think I'll quit blathering about this now.
