Maryland, DC and N. VA Traffic Cams

[bear105]

Don't know if anybody else already knew about this site, but I just found it and love it. It has all the traffic cameras in Baltimore, DC, Bay Bridge and Northern Virgina available at a quick click. And its all free.

Actually I had used, it, but just didn't recall the name. VDOT seems to have 'contracted' the NOVA cameras out to or gets their NOVA info from trafficland. If you goto the VDOT web page http://www.virginiadot.org/quick/frederick_quick.asp and click on the webcams link, it takes you right to your site.

Trafficland gets mentioned often on WTOP www.wtopnews.com
BTW the WTOP network has traffic updates every 10 minutes on the 8's 24/7. They do an EXCELLENT job! The network includes WTOP AM 1500 in DC, WXTR AM 820 in Frederick MD, WTOP-FM 107.7 in Warrenton VA & W282BA (low power)104.3 in Leesburg VA. This makes their coverage area from north of Richmond to Baltimore & from the eastern shore to Hagerstown MD. I never travel in the area without catching the updates!
