8527 - Unknown TG RID 2127444 only, no other RIDs associated with this TG. Literally thousands of hits on DSD+. Is encrypted. Any ideas ? With that RID, just above where MSP consoles might be.

Comes over all Carroll County sites (and probably others, but I am only monitoring Carroll County).

It's some kind of patch. No idea to what. Fully encrypted and never have seen another RID on it. It has been seen on the AA/Balt Sites before.

Note the range of TGs here for inference:

I haven't ran Unitrunker in a while but noticed on the Baltimore Site a peer of Site 001-030 with a Frequency of 774.05625.

The latest go live date I heard for the remaining counties was yesterday (11/15/21). That didn't happen on the PG Site from what I could see. Does anyone have any intel when the newest go live date is?

Do you know if this was only site that didn’t go live ? I’ll see if I can hear anything from the Southern sites

The "go live" date is a "target" date, not hard at all. They usually miss several until all the moving parts fall into place. The Prince Georges site (and really all of SoMD) is dependent on a backhaul construction project in the Upper Marlboro area which routinely gets delayed.

Hearing SHA D3 on the Charles Simulcast. I guess this is a good thing ?
If that is a new behavior, then yes. I can see that the Montgomery County simulcast has not been Peering with Anne Arundel simulcast for about a week now, which is not good news.

Anyone want to speculate who / what this group of 50 talkgroups are for? They look suspiciously like backup channels, and I'd guess they are for AACo...

That observation kinda blows up the backup set theory if they were in use in 2015. My data set only goes back to 2018, so I don't have a record of their use at that time. They were being tested around Dec 2020 / Jan 2021, with subscribers in the 219xxxx range.

I am not seeing any indication that the Zone 5 sites are live today. I did notice that there does not seem to be any peering between Zone 1 and Zone 5 sites.

Here's some research into the disconnection of Zone 1 (and 3) from Zone 5 sites:

Howard peers.PNG

Note that the Montgomery and Prince Georges cells show 00-0000 for the Control Channel. Also notice that the Westminster ASR is also showing 00-0000, but for a different reason (it has been absorbed by the Carroll Simulcast cell which is now online.)

Here's another example of the disconnection, this time looking at the Montgomery simulcast cell:

On Nov 6, the Zone 1 sites were peering with the Montgomery cell, now only the Prince Georges Zone 5 cell peers.

The Carroll County simulcast cell is carrying traffic, however it's unclear if the Westminster ASR is still on the air. I hope to check on it over the weekend. The plan is to combine the existing Westminster ASR with two new sites in Taylorsville and Sykesville to create the new simulcast cell. The Taylorsville site *appears* to be transmitting; the Sykesville site is not. Not sure if the Westminster ASR is still on the air, or if it has been merged with the new Taylorsville site.

An update on the new Carroll simulcast cell: the Westminster Barracks tower site is the only site of the cell currently on the air, although it is transmitting a simulcast waveform. The Taylorsville subsite is not currently transmitting, but does have site equipment (at least the antennas) installed, as does the Sykesville / Springfield Hospital tower. The Westminster ASR is no longer on the air.
