Likely a State Park Ops or Admin Talkgroup. According to my notes in 2019 (long time ago), a Tuckahoe unit was active on it.

Any call signs used on it? Seneca Creek State Park Staff I believe uses 5xx. Southern MD parks use 4xx.

TG 7577 Not much said but definitely sounds like a DNR talk around or tac channel.

Would anyone know what TG8527 is ? Been seeing it pop up a lot here lately.
I have always assumed it was some kind of patch talkgroup with DOIT. Always encrypted. I have only seen a single RID on it. I have seen it active on AA/Balt Sites since at least 2021.

Interesting because it’s lighting up the entire screen on the Unitrunker via the Mt.Airy ASR. I’m also seeing Talbot Fire Tac 3 show up as a patch and active. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

Talbot Fire 3 is patched with what? Perhaps it might have something to do with DEM / Camp Fredderd being near-ish.

It's showing two Talbot Fire tgs patched together, probably to save dispatcher resources. Same with the NRP tgs. I see Talbot resources patched together on the Anne Arundel site from time to time, probably due to a Talbot ambulance transporting to AAMC. I cannot explain why you are seeing this on the Mt. Airy site other than somebody snooping with a portable.

So this would be the 2nd time I’ve seen Barrack Q College Park showed up on Unitunker via the Montgomery Simulcast site today. It’s always a join or grant. After doing a ride along in Frederick I had noticed they have lots of “old” and “new” labeled zones for counties. We stayed on the “old” zone for Frederick, meaning we stayed on their county system. Perhaps in this case an officer or dispatcher joined the “new” zone for whatever reason. This explains why there hasn’t been any activity from this barrack being broadcasted on the Montgomery County simucast first site. I would think that if they were truly on the first system they they’d be picked up by the MoCo first site as does Frederick more then not.

MSP College Park Talkgroup is only a patch of PG College Park Talkgroup so unless a radio is on the Montgomery cell and switches over there is no reason for it be active on Montgomery. At times College Park is active on the AA Cell. I can't receive the PG FiRST Site but I believe the patch is active all the time. I have only seen a few radios active on the College Park talkgroup (mostly out of area units).

All the times I have been through Frederick over the years, it seems that MSP Frederick is always using the Fredrick County System vs using FiRST but is always patched to FiRST.
