Of course you will be able to pick up all of Blount County. If you are interested business monitoring check HERE. Depends where you are in Blount County, you will be able to pick up the Knox County TRS. Here are some frequencies for the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 166.3500, 167.0750, 167.1500, 168.2000, 168.7500, 169.5000, and 169.5500. I know that you can hear a few of these from Maryville. Here are a few for Cherokee National Forest, 168.0250, 168.7500, and 169.9250. There is plenty of air traffic, McGhee Tyson airport and McGhee Tyson AFR Base, this inst really what I listen to but you can find some frequencies HERE. If you would like a P95 or SPG file shoot me an email and I will send you what I have for the area, Knox and Blount counties down to Chattanooga.

No prob Capnjon, Not much digital in this area, closest system that I know of is Nashville. While you are in the area, if you are close to the Tennessee River you might see the USCGC Ouachita(WLR 65501). Saw it up on the Tennessee right past Lenoir City a few weeks ago.

milf,

With my Pro95 as my only portable I was not able to get tones, But I just put up a discone in the attic. I will try to get tones with this antenna and my Pro-92. Here is what I have off the top of my head for usage.

168.0250 Law Enforcement
168.7500 Fire
169.9250 Dispatch

I will double check this over the next few days to see if they are correct.

Thanks Click23...I'll have to look for the CG River tender. My old man tried to get me to transfer down on the Tennesee River before I retired from the Coast Guard, but couldn't get stationed down there. Would of loved it!
I'm on the road Sunday and hope to be there after midnight (Maryville). Thanks for your help!
