I am hearing traffic on the Bell County P25 system referencing a suspect search in a hospital on All 2 (50429). I have heard that the suspect is now deceased with a GSW to his temple and that there are 7 wounded and 3 killed. I heard a couple Killeen medic units on scene but I do not recall hearing them dispatched to the incident. I am also hearing traffic on 50293, 50294, and 50299 which are listed as encrypted.

I now know that it was a training exercise. I just heard a user say "5630 to all players and units, come to the lobby. Center at this time we're endexing this incident."
One of the big clues is if everyone is nice and calm and using proper radio etiquette.
I laughed because having participated in several drills and responded to many real incidents over the years I know it's true.
OTOH, the shooting in Austin this afternoon was all too real.

During all of this, I observed that 50617(County Fire Pagers) was patched with 65152(not in RRDB).

On most P25 systems talkgroups in the 65000 range are usually temporary patches.
