I was doing a band search on my Yaesu FT-60 from 700-999.990 MHz, and landed on an active frequency: 948.912.5.
I think it may be the Mass. State Police? I’m just getting snippets.
Some of the call references I heard were: “Code 5”, “north shore regional Rt. 2 west Rt. 129”, “Dedham”, “location 495 Chelmsford”, “Cambridge”, “H4 has one in custody “, “shut down northbound/southbound“ (Might be 495 southbound near Rt. 117.), “93 southbound break checking” “open 93 northbound “93 southbound vehicle in guardrail”.
It is extremely active but I cannot find a reference to this frequency.
Anyone know what it is?
