Hi. I visit your state 1x a year and just got a 246. I was wondering under what setting do I use when I put in the Mass state system in the radio.
800 Type 2?

Yes when programming the Mass State Police system it's a 800 Type2 trunked system.

Eric, what are you using to program your scanner? I have several MSP files for different parts of the state for use with my 396. I can send them to you in either ARC or UASD format.

I am using Arc software for my 246.I also got a 296 with the arc250 software.
Do you have a file for me?
That would be great.

I can send you either a ARC396 or ARC250 file. My guess is that ARC246 will open the 396 file, but I won't guarantee it. Actually, I can send you both, it's not an either or thing.
