Master Reset for scanner

I know this has been asked and answered before, but I'm completly unable to find the answer.

What is the key sequence to reset a Unidin scanner?

most uniden scanners rest this way

1 turn radio off

2 press and hold 2,9,and manual while turning on the radio

if the radio does not have a manual key, use the hold key

the exception to this is the bc800xlt and bc210xw- remove the backup batteries on the back of the radio.
