Maybe we could have a sticky in the classifieds with something like the following rating system for the items so that everyone is thinking alike. Or maybe no one would bother to read it.

NEW* As packaged by manufacturer complete with manufacturer’s USA warranty.

LN* "Like New" 99% -100% of NEW. Includes original box, instructions, and everything that came with it.

LN-* "Like New Minus" Extremely slight wear only seen upon very close inspection. Box, manual, and accessories included.

EX+* "Excellent Plus" Exceptionally nice. May have slight wear on finish but visible only under close inspection.

VG* "Very Good" Shows some wear on keys. May have slight finish wear.

GOOD* "Good" Shows more than average wear. May have dings as well as finish wear but still works well.

AS IS* "As Is" Does not work, but has usable parts.

It wouldn't be enforced, so you'd get a lot of variation in stated quality. Quality comes down to an individual's perception. For example, I actually believe that Good should be Poor. There are simply too many levels of quality, too many differences in opinion, and no real way to turn this uniform.

On a side note, if you're going to suggest a system like this, at least have it make sense. Why is there a Like New -, and an Excellent +, but no Like New + or Excellent -?
