This is a long shot, but has anybody here ever used the MBNA Amateur Radio Enthusiasts MasterCard? That was the one that gives your "rewards" as money off amateur radio equipment. Anyway, I called MBNA earlier this week. It sounds like the program has ended, but they will still redeem points. The problem is, when I asked more about how to redeem those points and what the Terms And Conditions are, the person I spoke with had no idea!

It is a long shot, but I am just wondering if anybody here ever used this program. I think it was something like if you bought a $500 amateur radio you could redeem a certificate for $50 or $100 off the purchase.

MBNA no longer exists. They were bought out by Bank of America in 2005 or 2006. BOA may or may not honor MBNA deals.

Yes, now that you mention it the card is now Bank Of America. It will be interesting to see if they still let me redeem these.

Good luck. I had an MBNA card and have since cancelled it, because BOA did not support the card any longer.
