If the moderator allows this, I'd like like to make this the "official" thread of all things
relating to Miami Beach PD/FD & Associated TG's...
There are some new TGs being implemented currently and old ones being revived
under new names and assignments.
Also, Miami, Hialeah and Miami Beach are going to be going through that dreaded
re-banding, so if anyone has any contributions other than or in addition to the somewhat
incomplete database here on RR, please join in and share your info with the rest of us!
I don't even know how many rabid Miami Beach scanner freaks are out here
(other than rabid ol' me), but since I'm right in the heart of the place, I'd love
to get a better grasp of whats going on here with all the missing TGs.
For instance, lately I've heard a TG that sounds like vice (the NYPD has a wonderful
pejorative term for their vice squad, which decorum forbids me to pronounce here),
one that sounds like an SIU (special investigations unit) and one that sounds like detectives... I'd also like to see if we can get or put together a list of the MBPD codes
that are used to describe the various incidents (ex: 09=available for assignment)
