McCain to visit FERMI-II in Monroe Tuesday

John McCain will be visiting the Fermi-II nuclear power plant on Tuesday, 08/05 to promote the use of nuclear power. Detroit Edison wants to construct a second nuclear power plant next door to the existing one.

This should provide some interesting listening!

Actually they're proposing a new plant just a little soutwest of the present Fermi.
Bet the farmlands around there will be crawling with security.

Nothing too exciting with Obama's visit...

Oh - except for the police car that caught fire out front about 2 hours prior! Then ammunition started firing off, but they had people lined up out front waiting to get in... All safely done.
