Don't be afraid to build a wiki article to catalog your finds, as well as pass them along to the database team! That way questions like the above can be answered from past year's logs.

T-Birds heard today on 143.7 AM with their practice run.

Jeff...do you know which talkgroups or frequencies McGuire and Fort Dix's EMS operates on? I never seem to be able to pinpoint which.

Was in Ocean county today and logged the following:
143.70 seemed to be the main freq for T-Birds
143.25 was used at start-up. They were setting waypoints, etc.
Also heard T-Birds on 235.25, and had some one on 141.80 although this might have been some one else.
Heard the airboss on: 119.05, 123.15
Was getting some kind of air-to-air ops on 140.05 (am) (I know, Lakehurst base FD freq) and 139.9 (am)
Later in day, heard either F16 or F22 demo ops on: 136.675 (am), 365.70 & 376.025
Was picking up some kind of air-to-air exercise on 343.0

Doesnt look good

It doesnt look good. I just saw a tornado watch in effect till 5pm today for our area. Decent storm rolling in. Listening to McGuire TRS, they are scrambling to move some of the planes into hangers. I even heard that some of the fire trucks are being used to windblock a few helocopters till this blows through.

It was the F22's if it was around 4:00pm. They were flying overhead on my way home from work.

yes it was later in the day around that time. I wasn't sure cause the freqs were listed to both the F16 & F22 demo.
Thanks for the info.

It had to be the F-15 then. I only saw it briefly from the underside as I was driving. He said it was either F-16 or F-22. I know it wasnt an F-16. Aplogies for the confusion. However, the F-22 is a (pending) static display this year. Link below.

http://www.mcguireairexpo.info/Statics.html

F/A-18 and F-22's have 2 engines and are side by side. F-15's have 2 engines but are seperated. F-16's have a single engine.
