McLean Co EMA storm spotters

Heard Heyworth talking to McLean County EMA last night giving storm reports on Starcom21 TG 30357. Have the storm spotters abandoned 453.700 in favor of Starcom? I was hearing this briefly on the Champaign site.

Late last night during the storms METCOM said the Dawson Lake Starcom21 site went offline. Don't know if it's back up.

Reading the McLean County EMA 2012 Annual Report, they have moved storm spotters off UHF to Starcom21 because of the narrowbanding mandate. It says spotter coordination will occur on a "mutual talkgroup" on Starcom21.

The actual spotters haven't moved to SC21, they are using SC21 to relay info into the NWS. From what I understand, this was going to start happening across all county EMAs.
