McMinn county 911

I have a question does mcminn county have more than one 911 or dispatch center?

County took over Athens 911/PD/FD and Etowah PD/FD a while back for daily ops. Those local agencies still have dispatch equipment as a backup or admin but not used for routine operations. County 911 has a backup as well in case of disaster.

Ok another question correct me if I am wrong but calhoun and niotia pd is dispatched on 155.700 is Englewood also on this channel or something else

I don't have the freq in front of me, but yes all 3 PDs are still dispatched on the old SO Channel-1. They do not have the funds to pay the TACN fees, hopefully that will change soon.

Calhoun : I forgot Thier ID block. Either 800 or 900's
Englewood : 600's
Niota : 700's

SO jail transport, 490 (SO enforceable & civil process server), and animal control have all switched to TACN.
