Running the LCN Finder for 18 hours now on Etowah City with 0/5 found, On average how long should i expect ?
It found Athens City's 4 lcn in about 5 minutes.

I read the Database from RR and used Proscan to import them into the 536hp, So far its picked up no Etowah City LCNs and searching all night again. I found all 4 Athens City LCNs and this morning when they were doing truck and radio checks zero transmissions picked up on the 536.
Im searching the Starr Mountain site thinking its the highest antenna and main site ? I have found 3/5 so far.
Nothing in the manual or Marks Easy to read guide......
Im sure a setting or something is off, Yes i save every LCN found into the system.

Radio has been scanning the system and still is silent, Not made a sound on anyone of the channels.
Im lost and need suggestions.

Try this (not verified, but extremely likely to be correct)

And, for all of the sites existing in the DB at the present time (betwee 1 and 34), the RAN is almost certainly equal the Site #. Ex: freqs under Site 7 would have RAN 7

And on Site 7, the freq in the database is wrong (I submitted correction). It is not 461.71855. It's 461.71875

Not for the TRX-1 (or it's sibling the TRX-2).

Those two models do not actually track the system. They only check each frequency entered to see if a talkgroup you programmed is active, and if so, receive that radio traffic. If you have a wild card in the system, you would also hear talkgroups that you did not enter, but you'd only see the TGID, since it is not a programmed talkgroup with a text tag.

The Uniden scanners, with the NXDN upgrade do need the LCN, as they actually track the system and can follow a specific talkgroup. If the system is lightly loaded, not a lot of users or frequencies, the TRX series might be satisfactory, even though they do not track the system. For more active systems, numerous users and considerably more transmissions, the TRX scanners might miss specific conversations, whereas the Uniden's have no, or few problems.
