McPherson County going digital

I've heard that McPherson County is planning on going digital. I don't know if they'll have their own system or use the state's.

They have been digital for several months that I'm aware of. There are 62 Talkgroups in the county. They use KSICS and their own system.

Not quite correct. The new P25 system is still being tested as of this morning (7/26)), with the current EDACS system still in use. McPherson City Fire is operating on the KSICS system.

Sheriff and PD still on EDACS. I'll grab some pics of the radios at work tonight.

I've seen that all fire departments have talk groups on KSICS. I'm assuming that the McPherson county P25 will be for LEOs.
