Any suggestions on what simulcast site to receive the lakes TGs in NW Mesa ? I am using the Chandler/Mesa Simu Site 34 for SE.FH, QC on both 100/200 and no problems but not getting lakes TGs.

I hear them frequently I just don't remember what site they come through on, I think its probably Thompson Peak. Being in Pinal County I can only receive Mesa/Chandler Simulcast, Queen Creek, and Thompson Peak.

Your can also try the Northeast Mountain Simulcast.

I don't think the East Lakes Simulcast provides coverage far enough west for you to receive. But they would definitely be on that one.

Try all the sites in your radio. If nothing, then you won't have any luck.

Trying all of the sites in the Maricopa County system would be pointless being as the OP is in northwest Mesa. Only worthwhile to concentrate on sites that are within range and work from there. If the OP had said he was using the Thompson Peak site and still not able to hear the Lakes channels, then it might be an issue of programming. However, the issue is resolved, OP is able receive the channels on the site suggested.

Funny, like people asking how 100.7 radio station covers. Try it yourself & find out.

I think the point of the fourms is to share information, why "try it out" if someone else already has. If we all should just do for ourselves then the database would be pointless too, everyone should just search and find the frequencies, systems, sites, and talk groups on their own. I get it, if you don't want to be bothered with questions that you feel aren't worth answering, then don't respond. Personally I enjoy sharing the knowledge I have in the hobby and helping other users.
